Have you ever wondered “What are the best sunglasses for my face?” Finding the right pair of sunglasses to compliment your face can be difficult. No I take that back – it can be VERY difficult and frustrating; plus trying them on in the store can be a very arduous task. Nothing is worse than trying to take a look at yourself in a store’s distorted, fun house type mirror and winding up frustrated, because your nose looks huge, or maybe the glasses look like they take over your face. Maybe you are the uncertain type – one who can never make up their mind, so you bring a friend along for a second opinion. They help steer you in the right direction, but you can’t help but think, “What if they are ‘just being nice’?” And this brings you back into that cycle of not knowing what glasses to purchase, so you wind up either not buying a pair, or just buying a pair you are unhappy with. Maybe that’s why so many of us have issues holding onto sunglasses, or find that we break them so easily: because deep down, we are not satisfied with them!!
BUT DON’T FRET; there is hope! Posted below is a wonderful chart that will help aid you in your quest to find that perfect pair of shades, one that you can actually be happy with, without the added anxiety and frustration. It’s easy! First, you need to make an outline of your face – so grab a mirror or stand in front of one – and then trace the outline of your face onto the mirror. (Make sure you are not using something permanent!) Then, using what you just drew, compare that to the chart below to help find out what your face shape is. That’s it! Easy, right? Now that you know your face shape, it will be easier to find the right pair of shades!
